The Indiana Nighthawks Football, in its first year, wanted to establish relationships and partnerships to show their commitment to the Greater Indianapolis area. One of the first organizations willing to pair with the new football franchise was the Central Indiana American Cancer Society. The Nighthawks will be hosting two “pink” games in conjunction with the American Cancer Society on Saturday, August 25th and Saturday, September 8th. The first game will be against the Racine Threat at Park Tudor Stadium while the second will be against the Lake County Steelers – both games will kick off at 7p.
Bring your family and friends to watch the Nighthawks take the field in pink gloves, cleats, socks, and arm bands while raising the awareness of breast cancer. Be sure to stop by the American Cancer Society’s informational booth to receive great educational pamphlets. Anyone who donates to the American Cancer Society will receive a pink bracelet and be helping the Indiana Nighthawks in their fundraising efforts toward the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event on Saturday, October 20th at Celebration Plaza at White River State Park.
