Ronnie SaundersRonald Carlomon Saunders III is a self-described onion – “I have many layers to me.”

Ronnie is a firefighter with the Indianapolis Fire Department. He is a former assistant coach for the Lawrence Central High School varsity football team who earned his BS in Legal Studies from Indiana State University. Saunders maintains a love for governmental affairs and policy development; he has publicly expressed the desire to get into politics.

Ronnie also makes time for sports – whether it is to watch or play. He mainly stays up to date in basketball and football but finds a healthy interest in all sorts of sports. Saunders has played semi-professional football for a number of teams in the Indianapolis area but ended up retiring once he received an offer from the Indianapolis Fire Department.

Saunders is an avid community volunteer. He has donated his time and energy to many different organizations but his most proud accomplishments come from his time spent with the American Cancer Society. Ronnie also has served as a delegate of Indiana and elected member within the Association of Social Work Boards.
